The Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI) is the main strategy used by the WHO and UNICEF to encourage breastfeeding. The goal is to create favourable conditions for the protection, support and encouragement of breastfeeding for the feeding of infants and babies.

Meetings of prenatal or postnatal groups once a week either in Mont Tremblant, Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, Val David or Labelle, with a nurse and a breastfeeding coach, given by the Nourri-Source

Mother-to-mother support is offered by the Nourri-Source

It is possible to receive support for breastfeeding from a perinatal nurse.
