The Laurentian Hospital’s visiting hours allows those hospitalized to stay in touch with their family and friends. However, to encourage the rapid recovery of patients and to ensure their safety, certain rules must be respected.
Visiting hours are from 2:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Note that the patient’s doctor or nurse can, at any time, decide to authorize supplementary visiting hours or to limit visits, if judged to be in the best interests of the patient.
The number of visitors per patient is limited to two in order to control and prevent infections, and out of respect for other hospitalized patients.
Children under 12 years old
Children under 12 years old are not allowed to visit except upon agreement by the nurse.
Respect for hygiene measures
Respect for basic hygiene measures, primarily hand-washing and respiratory etiquette, is always recommended. Alcohol-based hand sanitizers are available throughout the hospital.
Spouses are welcome in the birthing unit at all times.
